Arrested Development cast talk movie adaptation
We’re huge Arrested Development fans at Total Film, so we couldn’t be more excited about the new series that’s going to be released (in full) on Netflix on May 26. But we’re already thinking about what’s in store for us after we’ve watched the new episodes over and over - so, as we had the afternoon free (nothing cancelled), we headed down to the Leicester Square premiere of Season Four, to ask the cast about the much-mooted big screen version…

SUBMISSION:
SF49, mixed media, map collage on canvas, 24”x24”
A new map of San Francisco made from old maps.  The original is 24”x24” and made from a series of 49 cut outs of the San Francisco map.  It is made from maps of many of the different places where San Franciscans originally came from before coming home to the City we love.  Over 100 countries are represented in the finished piece.  The 49 maps are laid out in a 7x7 grid — a nod to the “7x7 mile” size of our City that is approximately, very approximately, 49 square miles.  It’s the City where 49 is an especially magical number.

    10 Modern-Day Gatsbys

Mystery. Money. Decadence. If Fitzgerald were writing The Great Gatsby today, he’d be using these millionaires for inspiration.

  • “Stand back somewhere on the main beams of a big log house and feel the music come up through your femurs, ho ho, and after that you can always say for sure, that you once knew what it was like to hear men play rock ‘n’ roll music.”
